The table plan is part of Pro. It takes your table orders and waiter calls and places them on a plan of your room, so floor staff see at a glance where to go, without running between the room and the till.
Drawing your room
Open « Table plan » in the dashboard menu. Add square, round or long tables, drag them onto the grid and tap a table to change its name, seats or shape, or rotate it. « + Add 10 » and « Import from my QR tables » fill the room in seconds. Each area (inside, terrace, upstairs) has its own tab.
Under the table tools, the « Room » row adds walls, windows, the entrance (its arrow points into the room), the bar, kitchen, till, toilets, stairs, terrace, plants and pillars. Resize them and rename zones (« Terrace bar »). Finish with « Save plan ».
A table's name is the one printed on its QR card: « Table 4 » and « table 4 » are the same table. « Print QR cards » prints one card per table straight from the plan.
The live map in kitchen mode
In Orders, open kitchen mode and choose « Floor map ». Each table takes the colour of what it needs:
- Bill asked (with a €) and waiter called (with a !).
- New order, preparing, served.
- Free: nothing going on.
Tap a table to see its orders grouped by name, with the total. « Paid · clear table » sets the table back to free and closes its calls. A table with no activity for 3 hours frees itself; change that in Settings, ordering section. A table that orders but isn't on the plan (an old QR card) shows under « Not on the plan », with « Add to plan ».
Printing kitchen tickets and summaries
Every kitchen-mode card has a print button: the kitchen ticket shows the table, name, dishes and note, without prices. The table summary (from the map) lists orders by name with the total, for the till; it says « Not a receipt », since the official receipt comes from your own till.
In kitchen mode, « Printer » sets the paper for this device (80 mm, 58 mm or A4 receipt) and automatic printing when you accept an order. The browser shows its print dialog unless Chrome runs in kiosk printing mode (--kiosk-printing).
Who can do what
The owner and managers draw and edit the plan. The whole team, waiters included, sees the live map, clears tables and prints. If your guests pick their own table, they choose it from the plan instead of typing it.
