QR code ordering at the table

With qartine, guests order at the table by scanning a QR code: they choose on their phone, the order lands live in your kitchen with the table number, and payment happens at the counter — with no per-order commission and no app to install.

How QR code ordering works

QR code ordering comes down to four moves. The guest scans the QR code on the table, the menu opens in their browser, they pick their dishes and send the order. It arrives live in your dashboard and on the kitchen screen, with the table number — you know immediately what to prepare and for whom. No waiting to flag down a server, no transcription slip-ups: what the guest taps is exactly what the kitchen receives.

Each table gets its own QR code, which fills in the table number automatically. The guest types nothing, and you never mix two orders up.

Dine-in and takeaway

The same QR menu handles table ordering and takeaway. At the table, the guest orders from their seat and pays at the counter or the table, as usual. For takeaway, they order ahead, you prepare, they pay on pickup. Either way, qartine takes no per-order commission: your subscription is a flat price, and every euro the guest spends stays in your till. That's the fundamental difference from delivery platforms that nibble at your margin on every ticket.

Why qartine

qartine isn't a plain QR code generator: it's a digital menu built for restaurants. The menu is trilingual FR · NL · EN, so every guest orders in their own language. Allergens are ticked per dish, photos do the selling, and you edit everything live — a price, a daily special, a sold-out item — without ever reprinting a QR code. Your guests install nothing: it all happens in the browser. You start self-serve, with no card, and keep control of every detail.
